Correctional/Maintenance Officer
Essential Functions:
- Functions may vary by individual assignment and include but are not limited to facility maintenance, some limited plumbing, electrical, and HVAC type repairs or maintenance of systems.
- Must be a quick learner and a problem solver.
- Must be a selfstarter and able to work to complete multiple tasks with little or no supervision.
- Ability to handle some work outside in all types of weather.
- Not be afraid to work around jail inmates at times.
Requirements:
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years old, be a U.S. citizen, or naturalized alien.
- Must possess at least a high school diploma\ G.E.D.
- Must not have been convicted of a Class “B” misdemeanor or above.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening, physical and psychological exam . If not currently licensed, must successfully complete certified Jailers Academy and pass the Basic Jailers state licensing exam.
- Work Schedule Monday-Friday 08:00 am – 5:00 pm. May be required to report to work during emergency situations.
