Assistant Emergency Dispatch Supervisor

Salary: $24.69–$30.59

Position Summary:

The Assistant Emergency Dispatch Supervisor plays a key role in the daily operation of the emergency communications center. This position works closely with the Emergency Dispatch Supervisor to help guide, support, and mentor dispatch staff, ensuring high standards of service and professionalism. Responsibilities include receiving and coordinating emergency and non-emergency calls for law enforcement, fire, and medical services; supervising and evaluating staff; maintaining accurate records; and assisting with operational decision-making. Strong communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations are essential.

Requirements:

· Must be at least 21 years of age

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Exceptional moral character

· No felony, domestic assault, or serious misdemeanor convictions

· Minimum of five (5) years of emergency dispatch experience
